Meet Our Founder

Pastor Sonja Hall Mahoney is a visionary leader,

Kingdom Ambassador, and compassionate advocate

devoted to empowering others through Love, Light, and transformational healing.  She is a multicultural, creative spirit with a love for God and passion for His Living Word which further fosters her love for her fellow man.  Through instruction and demonstration of the practical principles grounded in Love and root d in Wisdom,  it is Pastor Sonja’s heart to assist others  in achieving the inner harmony that will sustain holistic life outcomes and Thrival.

She is the Founder, Administrator, and Senior Advisor of

Light House Genesis (LHG) Global, Intl., Inc., a premier  Human Resource Services Organization with a central focus in restorative empowerment; spiritual growth and development, mental health, and holistic wellness.  She holds a Bachelor’s Accreditation in Christian Counseling Psychology from Freedom Bible College and Seminary and is a Board-Certified Pastoral Counselor. She retains multiple Professional  Coaching Certifications including Transitional Life, Grief and Trauma, Mental Health, Addictions-Recovery-Restoration and Holistic Health and Wellness .  A retired nurse, lifelong caregiver, and ordained Pastor, she has over 30 years of service in ministry, healthcare, mental health, and community advocacy.  Her work spans generations—supporting seniors and families, specifically those impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia, while also empowering youth and underserved populations facing life’s challenges. She has served in various leadership and supportive roles within her community and local Assembly. Pastor Sonja has served on various Governmental Committees at the Federal, State and local levels.  Pastor Sonja has and currently coaches and counsels abroad.

In 2026, her commission expanded through HealingWaters™ Holistic Wellness, where

she serves as Founder and Holistic Wellness Practitioner, integrating faith-based principles with holistic care. She oversees The Nehemiah House Foundation Initiative,

an subsidiary of LHG Global and is CEO of SonLisa™ Co., Inc., a diversified media enterprise, through which she is a published author and inspirational speaker.

Pastor Sonja seeks to lead with wisdom, compassion, and unconditional love—guiding others toward restoration,

breakthrough, and empowerment - the same way The Father has guided and nurtured her for so many years.
